There is a lot of support to be found in yoga philosophy, which describes the processes one goes through in the yoga practice on the mat, and outside of the mat too.

"Parinamavada" is a Sanskrit word and a philosophical concept that denotes the understanding that everything is in constant change, and that this is an inherent characteristic of the nature of life. If we manage to understand and accept this concept, our relationship with change can also become part of our practice.

A perfect yoga sequence is built up in a way that allows us to progress in a safe and steady way. When we teach a vinyasa class, we meet many different students, and therefore we also meet different challenges.

The students who attend will probably be at different levels in their asana practice, and have different needs, wishes and intentions, as well as being in their own individual process/journey in life.

We must also take into account that we are all in constant change, in the context of what we experience in life.

Such acceptance can perhaps lead us to sometimes choose not to progress to more advanced asanas in our practice or even to go back a bit to more basic exercises. In this way, we get the opportunity to go deeper instead of further - we allow the practice to support/reflect where we are in life at a given point. Everything from setting an intention at the beginning of the practice to performing asana with presence, refining and waiting for/receiving feedback (from our inner self), to moving out into the world again, becomes part of - and mirrors a larger process.

This aspect is very important; it encourages us to accept and appreciate where we are in life and how we feel at any given moment. Thus, the intention and purpose we set for our practice can come from a completely honest starting point. Only in this way can the yoga practice support and guide us in every moment and stage of our lifes. The idea is to start where we are; base ourselves on where we are physically, emotionally and mentally - and let the breath guide us with this underlying honesty.

This is how Vinyasa yoga becomes a tool for understanding, digesting and processing everything we take in and (have taken in) and to accept and not least - explore and respect our own limits. A tool to navigate through the body's varied landscape and life's processes with integrity and trust in one's own intuition, and the breath that takes us through everything. And helps us to stay present in every moment of our life.

We highten the awareness, lift the perspective and develop faith, that we are part of something bigger.

Listening inwardly and having more patience with ourselves will also enable us to accommodate ourselves even better.

The teaching about why and how postures, breathing, transitions and the use of the body's own energy channels (bandhas) work in all the layers of the body, balance the hormonal system and give the nervous system a restart, is what this TT 55-hour immersion will be able to give you, among other things.

All yoga practitioners and yoga teachers who want to work therapeutically through Vinyasa yoga can join, whether it is for their own development and process, or to teach and help others in their process and life path.

Feedback/ Review

If you want to immerse yourself in yoga, I cannot recommend Pia and this education enough. I have gained a completely new perspectives on my self practice and breathing, and indeed also in the way I live my life, after taking this education. When I think of how few hours we avtualy were together in this course, (55 hours) compared to what a load of knowledge I was given during these hours, is atually quite incredible. This lowad of knowledge, insights, and deeper understanding on a whole spectrum of levels and planes - from the archephysical to the more spiritual - where Pia also leads with a super steady hand. Recommended!!”
